SOMAFIX B2 Polyurethane Foam Specifications

Description:

Multi-purpose fixing and filling foam with an additive formula made of polyurethane that cures with moisture, meeting DIN 4102-1 standards. Features fire-resistant properties (B2) and self-extinguishing characteristics.

Application Areas:

Wherever fire-resistant or fire-extinguishing properties are required for fixing doors, window frames and similar panels, filling gaps, electrical installations, insulating hot and cold pipes, and covering gaps, holes and cracks. Excess material can be shaped, sanded and painted after curing (1-3 hours). The foam adheres to all types of building materials except silicone, Teflon, polyethylene and polypropylene. Resistant to all weather conditions, seawater, steam and humidity.

Usage Instructions:

Shake the can vigorously for 30 seconds. Screw and fix the specialized dosing actuator onto the can. Remove dirt, dust and grease from the application area and moisten with water (moistening the ground and released foam is important to accelerate the reaction and obtain a productive result). Turn the can upside down and press the actuator. Dried foam residue should be removed from the tube and valve for subsequent uses. Stained foam residue can be cleaned using SOMAFIX polyurethane foam cleaner. Since the foam tends to expand, appropriate amounts should be used.
